The A - B - C's of Eternity

A - We will all die!
B - We will all be resurrected from the dead!
C - We will all experience an everlasting future!

Those who are still living when the resurrection of the dead occurs will receive an equivalent transformation, so that all those born into this world will be able to see and hear their Creator!

Jesus said, "The hour is coming when all those who are dead will hear His voice and they will all rise up out of their graves. For the righteous it will be a resurrection to eternal life; but for the wicked it will be a resurrection to eternal damnation" (John 5:28-29).

We will need to become heavenly beings, similar to the angels, in order to enter the presence of "The King of kings and Lord of lords who lives in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen or can see" (I Tim. 6:15-16).

When Moses expressed his desire to see God, he was told that "no man can see Me and live". (Ex. 33:20). Earthly bodies cannot survive the presence of the One who created the universe and everything in it!

Jesus' resurrection was the prelude to our own. When Jesus appeared to His disciples, after His resurrection , He said, "All power is given to Me in heaven and on earth, Go, therefore and tell the world all those things I have taught you" (Matt. 28:18-19).

John wrote, "No man has ascended up into heaven, except the Son of man who came down from heaven, who is even now in heaven" (John 3:13)

Paul wrote, "God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself" (II Cor. 5:19).

God became a man in order to die in our place so that those who put their trust in His sacrifice, can enter into His heavenly home to live with Him forever!

Speaking of Himself, Jesus said, "The Son of man will come in His heavenly glory, with His angels; before Him will be gathered all the nations of the world. He will separate them one from another into two groups just as a shepherd divides the sheep from the goats" (Matt.25:31-33).

The sheep (the righteous) - will be on his right hand. He will say to them, "Come blessed of My Father, inherit the Kingdom, prepared for you from the foundation of the world" (Matt. 25:33-34).

The goats (the wicked) - will be on His left hand. He will say to them, "Depart from Me into the everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels...the wicked, shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous will enter into that life which is eternal" (Matt. 25: 33,41,46).

John gave us his vision of the future, "I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away...he heard a great voice from heaven, saying, 'The dwelling of God will be with His people...He will wipe all their tears away. There shall be no more death, no more sorrow, no more crying, no more pain; for the former things will have passed away" (Rev. 21:1-4).

In God's eternity there will be no past or no future, it will all be a wonderful present tense experience, all the time - forever!

It's very simple - just remember your A - B - Cs !
